Andrea Rye, her mum, retired as an administrator in a college while her dad, Eddie Rye Jr, consults for small scale businesses and has labored as a group organizer. Rye works as a liberal political commentator on CNN and a political analyst for NPR. Angela Rye is a CNN political commentator, news correspondent and NPR political analyst.
